Why did you choose to work for Housing at UNH?
My decision to work for Housing at UNH stems from my immense gratitude for all the amazing support that I’ve received during my time as a college student. By managing Babcock Hall, I hope to pay forward the incredible kindness which my past RAs, supervisors, and hall managers have given me as I’ve worked to discover my strengths and my passions as an individual. My experiences as an on-campus resident, as an RA, and as a member of Hall Council and Campus Living Association have, over the years, granted me so much encouragement and confidence in my desire to help create positive social change. As a UNH alum, I’m also aware of how many amazing students and student leaders live, work, and study here, and I can’t think of a population of thinkers, teachers, artists, scientists, innovators, and advocates that I am more eager to engage with and support.
What advice would you give to students?
Get involved in the community! Join clubs and other extracurricular activities where you can meet people who share similar interests and passions. Take advantage of as many resources as possible, both on and off campus. They are all here to help you have the best possible experience here at UNH and beyond!
